Top 3 Ikuta Toma's Drama & Movie (Spoilers Alert!)

Hello guys! It's been a long time i haven't posted anything for 1 month (i think). So, a few days before I have my final, there's a favorite Japanese actor crossed my mind. The multi-talented, handsome and very humble actor that I've been fangirling for! Ikuta Toma! Wooooooo! (Sorry, I'm very excited lately -__-')

Ikuta Toma that will reaches 29 years old in October this year which captured my heart with his comedic acting in Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (2008) as Nakatsu Shuichi with his co-stars Oguri Shun as Sano Izumi and Horikita Maki in Ashiya Mizuki. Okay I'll tell the details after this but I just want to say, I really L.O.V.E his acting in every dramas and movies he's acting in. His acting absolutely terrific.

Now, let me start with the Top 3 Ikuta Toma's Drama. Why don't we start from No.3?

No. 3) Hanachimitsu to Clover

This drama clearly shows the lives of five college student about friendship and love. Toma as Takemoto Yuta   been friends with  Mayama Takumi (Makai Osamu) and Morita Shinobu (Narimiya Hiroki) has coincidentally met Hanamoto Hagumi (Narumi Roki) which their lives become attached and they become friends joins by Yamada Ayumi (Harada Natsuki). I like how their friendships showed, its very natural. Yuta has been keeping his feelings for Hagumi since the first time they met. But when he builds up all his courage to get closer with Hagumi, Shinobu, his friend shows affection to Hagumi which makes her fall for him. This drama is a journey about life's of a person and trying to find what he/she want in his/her life. Toma's acting in this drama is really casual even though the flow of the drama sometimes too slow but i think this story is okay.

No. 2) Maou

Ohno Satoshi will be playing as Naruse Ryo/Manaka Tomoo, the role of a two-faced lawyer, one of which is a kind hearted soul and the other who is plotting revenge, using his brilliant mind, on the person who killed his relative. While, Ikuta Toma will play as Serizawa Naoto, who has become a detective due to his dark past, who is pursuing the mysterious series of murders and fighting against the devil (maou). (credited to Dramawiki). Actually, this drama is the remake based on korean version. From my perspective, I believe Toma is a good actor which he can brings this heavy role which contains emotional feelings due to Naoto's past. I'm also want to give credits to Ohno Satoshi, he nailed his role which gives me a cringe feelings and scary but sympathy to him. I like this version a lot than korean not just because Toma is my bias but this version more intense and it doesn't really involves love plot so much. I'm sure you love this drama if you love scary movie. ^_^

No. 1) Hanazakari no Kimitachi e

Do you see the photo above? Okay, I know some of you might have seen the taiwan version and the korean version. But for me, this version is better for you to laugh off. Seriously, this version not so much into love plot and they really shows how boys dorm looks like. Let's read the synopsis first.
Based on a popular comic, this hilarious comedy follows the chaos, troubles and friendship at a boys' boarding school after a girl-disguising-a-boy joins. Ashiya Mizuki has just come back to Japan from California where she was raised. She fell in love with Sano Izumi, a hopeful high jump hero, who has quit after an accident. As she wants him to go back to the sport once again, she enters the same high school as a boy! With a short hair, flattened chest and lowered voice, she starts sharing the same room with Sano. (Creadited to Fuji Creative)
First! I totally respect for  Horikita Maki as Ashiya Mizuki as she can looks like one of the boys. Second, Toma Ikuta as Nakatsu Shuichi, he totally kills the role. He is the one makes me addicted to this drama. He such a goof in this drama. Last but not the least, every actors in this drama really know how to make a comedic drama.
If you haven't seen this drama yet, you better cause I'm sure you fall deeply in love with this movie!

No. 3) Ningen Shikkaku

Synopsis: The film stars Toma Ikuta as Ōba Yōzō, a young man who finds it hard to relate to the world around him, but masks this sense of alienation with a jovial demeanor. Still, his life spirals toward self-destruction. Actress Satomi Ishihara plays one of the several women in his life, and the only one he marries.
Okay, this movie you need patience to watch it because the flow of the movie maybe too slow and also it need understanding to understand those words they said. This movie is really sad movie and every moment of the movie, it have every meanings behind it. I'm shock to see how this movie ends and i feels the movie did not give a very proper ending but it's good. As I watch Oba Yozo from being a good guy who always helping people, giving his friend 5 yen even he did not have much money and a talented painter which cause him to destruct himself with alcohol and drugs. I'm shocked I can finish this movie actually. Hahaha.

No.2) Hanamizuki

Synopsis: The film spans the ten-year period from 1996 to 2006, and it stars Yui Aragaki as Sae, a high school student who later grows into a young adult. Toma Ikuta also stars in this film, playing the role of Kouhei, Sae's boyfriend and an aspiring fisherman. Sae and Kouhei met by accident on a train when they were both high school students, and a relationship starts to form. Later, when Sae needs to leave Hokkaido to go to Tokyo for studies, the two of them attempted to have a long distance relationship. However, their bond is tested by multiple challenges facing the two of them. This is first movie I watched Ikuta Toma being the lead for love plot and I amused by their acting. How their challenges begin when Sae has test to get into the college while Kouhei just in fisherman's school which Sae accidentally broke his heart by saying he didn't understand her feelings since he only in fisherman's school. They fight but they get back together again. And this is the start for them to face other challenges as he wants to be a fisherman while she went to college and they need to have long distance relationship cause them a only have a little time to spend with each other. I love how the actors expressed their feelings into their role which brought the characters in reality. This movie suits for the fans of romantic and I'm sure most likely the fans are girls.

And No. 1, falls to *drum rolls* Bokura Ga Ita

Synopsis: Bokura ga Ita is a film based on a manga of the same name.
Toma Ikuta, starring in this film as Motoharu Yano, a boy who is popular with most girls in the class. [2] Actress Yuriko Yushitaka, star as Nanami Takahashi, a classmate of Motoharu. [4] In addition,Sosuka Tokaoka will play the role of Masafumi Takeuchi, Yano's close friend, and Yuika Motoriyaka will play Yuri Yamamoto, the younger sister of Motoharu's late girlfriend. Let me begin, I have watched anime first before this movie was out and I was really a huge fan of this anime. This movie have two part of Bokura Ga Ita; Zenpen and Bokura Ga Ita.

Its sad to see Takahashi when Yano asked her out only because she confessed to him he likes her. It's like he's taking advantage at her but I guess he really wants to get rid of his memories with his ex-girlfriend. The plot is really complicated when it comes to Yano as he attached to his ex-girlfriend's memories and Yamamoto which his ex-girlfriend's younger sister when he and Takahashi just begin to start their relationship. Yano can be seen as serious guy and hot-tempered when it comes to his girlfriend close to other guy as he's been cheated many time by his ex-girlfriend. For me, Yano's life is complicated which he can't tell expressed his feelings to anyone and he kept to himself which concludes him angry with himself after he makes mistakes. He thinks everything caused by him when in the second movie, his mother killed herself by jump off the building when she become paranoid after his father left her and she afraid Yano to leave her too as he only decided to visits Takahashi for few days as they have a long distance relationship due to circumstances. This incident which makes him to left Takahashi without saying a word. They only met after few years but he didn't think he can gives her happiness if they together. But their strings never cuts off when his best friend tried to make him realizes that he only loves her more than anyone.

I would really like to give applause to everyone in this movie which cause me to cry. I'm shocked I can cry just because of I thought a typical movie but it was more than that. The part his mother suicide really tears me off when it suddenly showed a person from afar jumps off the building. Toma really great actor he can pulls every character and here it is, I saw his acting skills. If I need to rate, I would love to give 100% for his acting. He nailed it man!

Okay, this is it everyone, my goodbye to you. Thank you for all who read this blog post. I'm really glad i post this up. I pleasured to read if you want to tell me your opinion in one of my post. Do tell me! Thank you.

It Started With A Kiss and It Started With A Kiss 2

Hi everyone... Today, I would like to recommend you It Started With A Kiss & It Started With A Kiss 2.

It Started With A Kiss

It Started With A Kiss 2/ They Kiss Again

For me this drama really more to comedic and romantic genre. This drama was based on Japanese manga Itazura Na Kiss.

The story began with Yuan Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin) is a bumbling, intellectually challenged, naïve, but optimistic high school girl. Ever since she met Jiang Zhi Shu (Joe Cheng) at the freshman orientation, she's been in love with the genius with an IQ of 200. After two years of having a crush on him, she finally musters the courage to confess her love to him at school with a love letter. Zhi Shu is not impressed, and Xiang Qin is left humiliated publicly in front of their entire school.
That afternoon, the new house she has just moved into with her father collapses in a minor earthquake. She and her father are instantly left homeless because they lacked the foresight to pay for earthquake insurance. Fortunately, her father's old college friend extends a helping hand and invites both of them to live at his house. Little does Xiang Qin know that the kind Uncle Li is actually the father of Jiang Zhi Shu.
Because of this unexpected turn of events, Zhi Shu and Xiang Qin begin living their lives under the same roof. Zhi Shu's mother aspires to bring them together, coaxing Zhi Shu into tutoring Xiang Qin and taking numerous pictures of the couple together. Zhi Shu remains cold towards Xiang Qin, thinking her to be one of the dumbest people he has ever met, and refuses to speak to her at school. Through the course of the series, Zhi Shu slowly warms up to Xiang Qin, who tries her hardest to do better in school for him, as they deal with romantic rivals, their futures, and their relationship.

From my opinion, I like It Started With A Kiss 2/ They Kiss Again more than the first one because we can see Zhi Shu's feeling to Xiang Qin more. But I hope you can watch It Started With A Kiss then you watch They Kiss Again because you need to the story line in this drama. These drama also starred by Wang Jiro from Taiwanese group, Fahrenheit. He played Zhi Shu's rival who attracted to Xiang Qin from beginning. These dramas will make you laugh and cry at the same time as their feelings began to develop to each other and they need to go through difficulties when the story at the climax.

Also, it has Korean Version of Itazura Na Kiss, which called Playful Kiss. It was starred by Kim Hyunjoong and Jung So Min.

That's all I would like to say about these dramas. Thank you for read my reviews even though I didn't write much. ^_^

Full House VS. Full House Take 2

Hi, today I’m going to write reviews about Full House and Full House Take 2. So, let’s we start with Full House.

FULL HOUSE

Synopsis: Han Ji-eun, an aspiring script writer, lives in a house called "Full House" built by her late father. One day, her two best friends trick her into believing she has won a free vacation. While she is away, they sell her house. On the plane, she meets a famous actor named Lee Young-jae. Through comedic events, they get acquainted during her vacation and when she returns, she discovers her house has been sold to him.
Though they don't get along with each other as she is messy and he has a bad temper and likes cleanliness, they agreed to live with each other. At first, Ji-eun works as his maid in order to buy her house back, but because of Young-jae's wish to make the love of his life and Kang Hye-won jealous, they get married. They set up a contract for the marriage to last six months. During that time, complications arise and Ji-Eun and Young-Jae become attracted to each other.

This drama aired at 2004 followed by 16 episodes. I don’t have much comment about this drama actually as I was introduced to this drama by my aunt. At first, when I watch this drama of course I like it because it contains romantic comedy. I remembered that I didn’t watch from the first episode but in the middle of episodes. After I finished this drama, I bought the cd and re-watch it again. Let me introduce the main characters first.

Han Ji-eun portrayed by Song Hye Kyo

Lee Young-jae portrayed by Rain/ Jung Ji-hoon

Yoo Min-hyuk portayed by Kim Sung-soo

Kang Hye-won portayed by Han Eun-jeong

Beginning of this drama showed Ji-eun was live by herself in a house called ‘Full House’ which she inherited by her late parents. She’s a character trying to do her best in writing. (She seems like me ^^,) She’s loyal to her only best friends, Yang Hee-jin and Shin Dong-wook. But I guess she’s too naïve and got tricked by her friends to go “free trip” to China which brings her to meet Youngjae for the first time.

Youngjae is a popular Korean actor but he has stubborn and egoistical attitudes which caused Ji-eun didn’t like him very much. This story showed that Youngjae and Jieun have met several times before she finds out Youngjae buys her house. He has secret crush to his unrequited love, his childhood friend who is a fashion designer which brought them closer.

Hye-won is a character perhaps “annoying” for whom shipping Youngjae and Jieun as she makes Youngjae lefts Jieun several times just to meet Hye-won. At the beginning drama, we could see Hye-won likes Min-hyuk who is ladies’ man, smart, rich and skillful.

But after one incident which Youngjae suddenly confessed to Jieun that he loves her in front of people and decide to get married. Hye-won starts to gives him more attention and gets closer with him.

Min-hyuk seems already attracted to Jieun since for the first time they met, when she mistaken him as Japanese. They get closer when she gets helped from him about writing stories to publish. This drama full of conflicts when it showed Youngjae has fragile relationship with his father, who is doctor. He also had sister but she died when she was a child.

Youngjae and Jieun starts to getting know each other more as they live under the same roof because  marriage contract to last six months. They began to fall for each other when Youngjae faces a problem about his family while Jieun has problems involve her best friends.

This drama is really sweet, fun and romantic if you watch it. But for me, I guess this drama has too much conflicts and emotional scenes but it’s not like I don’t like this drama. I really enjoy watch this drama. If you didn’t get to watch it, don’t agitate to watch it. ^^ I’ll give this drama 4.5 out of 5.

Now, let’s go to the next drama. We Re-Make of Full House which is Full House Take 2. Leggo!

Full House Take 2

Synopsis: A hapkido teacher named Jang Man-ok. (Man-ok means "full house" in Hanja) poses as a stylist for top idol group TAKE ONE and moves into the band's luxurious house, which superstar musician Lee Tae-ik inherited from his father. A love triangle emerges as Lee Tae Ik vies against fellow band member Won Kang-hwi for Man Ok’s affection.

Okay! Let me get this straight. I want to ask, why did you don’t like this story? Why? Let me state the reasons based on my research.

1.       The hairstyle is too ugly.
2.       The character not so good looking and not so pretty.
3.       The drama is not like Full House.
4.       Okay, I don’t want to write any more reasons because there is too many of them. -__-

I know the character is not very attractive like Full House. But! We can’t judge by its appearance only, we need to watch the plot of the drama also. Then, you know if this drama good or not. Yes, for the first time I don’t find this drama appeal to me at all. One day, in sudden I clicked Full House Take 2 video on Youtube (You can watch it this drama at Youtube). When I watch 4 episodes of this drama, I realized… (O__O) I’m hooked by its character and its plots. Let me introduce the main characters~

Jang Man Ok portrayed by Hwang Jung Eum (So, do you find her attractive enough?)

Lee Tae Ik portayed by No Min Woo

Won Kang Hwi portrayed by Park Ki Woong

Jin Se Ryung portayed by Yoo Seol Ah

This drama begins with Man Ok lives with her grandfather, her only family member. She was trained to be tough woman by her grandfather. She’s a hapkido teacher (one of martial arts) who loves to design clothes and sell clothes at clothing store called “Manokine” which she kept secret from her grandfather.

Tae Ik, a character who is stubborn and stingy who had already met Man Ok when they were younger. His relationship between Kang-hwi also in bad-term because of misunderstanding in the past which Kang-hwi didn’t realize until Tae Ik mentions it. Tae Ik who has “luxurious” body which he needs to wear/ used something 100% material either he will get allergic or he will faint. Tae Ik became an idol because of the house he inherited from his parents as L.J, his company’s president took the house from him. Tae Ik who is an idol always change his stylists before 3 month.

Kang Hwi who is apposite character with Ta Ik which is cheerful and friendly makes him have more fans of Take One(Their idol group’sname) than Tae Ik because of Tae Ik’s attitude. Kang Hwi also has dark past about his family. When he was younger, he lives with his mother but because of one incident, they apart from each other. This cause Kang Hwi needs to live with his father’s family in China, in this family only his half-sister good to him which he determined to not going back in China because it’s only leaves him a scar.

Jin Se Ryung, who is a popular actress, had romantic relationship with Tae Ik until Tae Ik saw her kissed Kang-Hwi in front of his eyes while Kang Hwi didn’t realize he saw the incident. Her character is a bit similar with Tae Ik, she’s bossing people around her and kind of cute and “annoying character as well.
This drama also brings a very scandalous scene where Tae Ik and Kang-Hwi had kissing scene because of incident related to Tae Ik’s allergic. (I guess that scene too scandalous which brings almost 1 million for the 1st episode :P)

Man Ok getting closer with Kang-Hwi after he told her he was one of her customer who ordered her limited items. Finally, he came to conclusion to ask her to become stylists for Take One. She impressed Tae Ik by making him from worst to best fashionista.

Day by day, Tae Ik and Kang-Hwi develop feelings to Man Ok as they spend time with each other, Se Ryung’s appearance brings them to complicated situations. While Kang-Hwi faces a big problem related to his life as his sights become blur and said he has thin chances for his eye sights.

Now I will end my reviews about Full House Take 2 or I can’t stop write reviews about both drama. Like I said before, I gave Full House 4.5 out 5 and for Full House Take 2 also 4.5 out of 5 as well. For me, both drama have interesting plot. I’m not lying, if I don’t like the drama I won’t review about the drama. If you have time, take this opportunity to watch both drama and reviews it yourself. Then you will know why did I say it have interesting plot. Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. (^__^)

Bridal Mask/ Gaksital

Now, I want to share with you about my latest addiction which is Top Korean Drama in 2012. Yes, I know I'm a bit late because now we already in the early 2013. But, I still want to recommend it to you. Some of my friends don't like it because the drama about ancient drama in 1930s. Duhh, ancient drama doesn't mean it's boring.

First, let me introduce lead casts of Bridal Mask/ Gaksital.

Joo Won as Lee Kang To/ Lee Young/ Sato Hiroshi. ( He starred in severals dramas before which are King of Baking Kim Takgu/ Bread, Love and Dream, Ojakgyo Brothers and drama soon to be aired Level 7 Civil Servant)

Jin Se Yun as Oh Mok Dan/ Boon Yi/ Esther ( This is my first time to see her acting but I'm really impressed with her act)

Park Ki Woong as Kimura Shunji ( He acted in many dramas and movies such as My Tutor Friend 2, Someone Behind You, Love Marriage, Art of Fighting, Full House Take 2 and many more ^^)

Han Chae Ah as Chae Hong Joo/ Ueno Rie ( This is also first time I see her acting. Sorry^^)

This is synopsis of this drama: Gaksital is a famous manhwa set in the 1930s, during the Japanese occupation. The hero, Lee Kang-to, is known as 'Gaksital' because he wears a mask to hide his face — one of those traditional play masks, specifically the rosy-cheeked one reserved for the female role, aka the bride. He's an unassuming young man in real life, but when he dons his superhero mask, he fights injustice and rights wrongs during one of the darkest periods of Korea's history…

When I watch the first episode, Gaksital already give me a very good impression as it showed Lee Kang To, a Korean man betrayed his country and become Imperial Police for Japan due to his family condition. It's very heart-breaking to see he tortures Koreans.

While Kimura Shunji was a Japanese but he teaches Korean children. His personalities very different from Lee Kang To who very aggressive towards people while Kimura Shunji very kind to people with smile plastered on his face. They were good friends as when Kang To has problems with his family, he will go to Shunji and talks about his problems. It’s nice to see friendship between Kang To and Shunji. But their friendship didn’t last long when Kang To knew his brother was Bridal Mask whom he searching for years and when he found out that Shunji’s brother, Kimura Kenji killed his mother.

Without wasting time, Kang To dressed as Bridal Mask and killed Kimura Kenji while Kimura Shunji in sudden saw the incident. From that moment, their personalities began to change slowly as Kang To replaces his brother and become Bridal Mask while Kimura Shunji leaves his work as teacher and become Imperial Police for Japan.

As for Oh Mok Dan, she was first love for Lee Kang To known by name Boon Yi and also was Kimura Shunji’s first love known by name Esther. She’s a strong character as she never bowed to Japanese even though been totured. She and Kang To were enemies at first because Kang To captured her father who called Dam Sa Ri. She loves a guy Lee Young who she met when she was a little girl and she predicted he was Bridal Mask because Bridal Mask saved her several times.

Ueno Rie, also one of strong character as she can make all men obeyed her. Her character and Shunji’s character looked similar but how they portrayed are different. Ueno Rie who loved Kang To because he has saved her in the past showed she grateful to him and she feel owed to him. Unfortunately Kang To didn’t remember her until she told him herself.

As Shunji’s character slowly changed into different character, he tied with his love to Oh Mok Dan. Because he needs to save Mok Dan, he become Imperial Police. Because of Mok Dan his grudges towards Bridal Mask increased day by day as Mok Dan takes Bridal Mask side.  Also, because of Mok Dan he and Kang To become enemies when Kang To suddenly confessed his love towards Mok Dan to his best friend.

This drama has very interesting plots and the actors and actresses done very great job! If I have to give marks over 5 stars, I’ll give 5 stars as it has great ending. If you want to know about its ending, you have to follow this drama. I’m sure you satisfied with it. Thank you for read my blog I really appreciate it very well. Do leave your opinions and write a comment ^^
