FULL HOUSE
Synopsis: Han Ji-eun, an aspiring
script writer, lives in a house called "Full House" built by her late
father. One day, her two best friends trick her into believing she has won a
free vacation. While she is away, they sell her house. On the plane, she meets
a famous actor named Lee Young-jae. Through comedic events, they get acquainted
during her vacation and when she returns, she discovers her house has been sold
to him.
Though they don't get along with
each other as she is messy and he has a bad temper and likes cleanliness, they
agreed to live with each other. At first, Ji-eun works as his maid in order to
buy her house back, but because of Young-jae's wish to make the love of his
life and Kang Hye-won jealous, they get married. They set up a contract for the
marriage to last six months. During that time, complications arise and Ji-Eun
and Young-Jae become attracted to each other.
This drama aired at 2004 followed
by 16 episodes. I don’t have much comment about this drama actually as I was
introduced to this drama by my aunt. At first, when I watch this drama of
course I like it because it contains romantic comedy. I remembered that I
didn’t watch from the first episode but in the middle of episodes. After I
finished this drama, I bought the cd and re-watch it again. Let me introduce
the main characters first.
Han Ji-eun portrayed by Song Hye
Kyo
Lee Young-jae portrayed by Rain/
Jung Ji-hoon
Yoo Min-hyuk portayed by Kim
Sung-soo
Kang Hye-won portayed by Han
Eun-jeong
Beginning of this drama showed
Ji-eun was live by herself in a house called ‘Full House’ which she inherited
by her late parents. She’s a character trying to do her best in writing. (She
seems like me ^^,) She’s loyal to her only best friends, Yang Hee-jin and Shin
Dong-wook. But I guess she’s too naïve and got tricked by her friends to go
“free trip” to China which brings her to meet Youngjae for the first time.
Youngjae is a popular Korean
actor but he has stubborn and egoistical attitudes which caused Ji-eun didn’t
like him very much. This story showed that Youngjae and Jieun have met several
times before she finds out Youngjae buys her house. He has secret crush to his
unrequited love, his childhood friend who is a fashion designer which brought
them closer.
Hye-won is a character perhaps
“annoying” for whom shipping Youngjae and Jieun as she makes Youngjae lefts
Jieun several times just to meet Hye-won. At the beginning drama, we could see
Hye-won likes Min-hyuk who is ladies’ man, smart, rich and skillful.
But after one incident which
Youngjae suddenly confessed to Jieun that he loves her in front of people and
decide to get married. Hye-won starts to gives him more attention and gets
closer with him.
Min-hyuk seems already attracted
to Jieun since for the first time they met, when she mistaken him as Japanese.
They get closer when she gets helped from him about writing stories to publish.
This drama full of conflicts when it showed Youngjae has fragile relationship
with his father, who is doctor. He also had sister but she died when she was a
child.
Youngjae and Jieun starts to
getting know each other more as they live under the same roof because marriage contract to last six months. They
began to fall for each other when Youngjae faces a problem about his family
while Jieun has problems involve her best friends.
This drama is really sweet, fun
and romantic if you watch it. But for me, I guess this drama has too much
conflicts and emotional scenes but it’s not like I don’t like this drama. I
really enjoy watch this drama. If you didn’t get to watch it, don’t agitate to
watch it. ^^ I’ll give this drama 4.5 out of 5.
Now, let’s go to the next drama.
We Re-Make of Full House which is Full House Take 2. Leggo!
Full House Take 2
Synopsis: A hapkido teacher named
Jang Man-ok. (Man-ok means "full house" in Hanja) poses as a stylist
for top idol group TAKE ONE and moves into the band's luxurious house, which
superstar musician Lee Tae-ik inherited from his father. A love triangle
emerges as Lee Tae Ik vies against fellow band member Won Kang-hwi for Man Ok’s
affection.
Okay! Let me get this straight. I
want to ask, why did you don’t like this story? Why? Let me state the reasons
based on my research.
1. The
hairstyle is too ugly.
2. The
character not so good looking and not so pretty.
3. The
drama is not like Full House.
4. Okay,
I don’t want to write any more reasons because there is too many of them. -__-
I know the character is not very
attractive like Full House. But! We can’t judge by
its appearance only, we need to watch the plot of the drama also. Then, you
know if this drama good or not. Yes, for the first time I don’t find this drama
appeal to me at all. One day, in sudden I clicked Full House Take 2 video on
Youtube (You can watch it this drama at Youtube). When I watch 4 episodes of
this drama, I realized… (O__O) I’m hooked by its character and its plots. Let
me introduce the main characters~
Jang Man Ok portrayed by Hwang
Jung Eum (So, do you find her attractive enough?)
Lee Tae Ik portayed by No Min Woo
Won Kang Hwi portrayed by Park Ki
Woong
Jin Se Ryung portayed by Yoo Seol
Ah
This drama begins with Man Ok
lives with her grandfather, her only family member. She was trained to be tough
woman by her grandfather. She’s a hapkido teacher (one of martial arts) who
loves to design clothes and sell clothes at clothing store called “Manokine”
which she kept secret from her grandfather.
Tae Ik, a character who is
stubborn and stingy who had already met Man Ok when they were younger. His
relationship between Kang-hwi also in bad-term because of misunderstanding in
the past which Kang-hwi didn’t realize until Tae Ik mentions it. Tae Ik who has
“luxurious” body which he needs to wear/ used something 100% material either he
will get allergic or he will faint. Tae Ik became an idol because of the house
he inherited from his parents as L.J, his company’s president took the house
from him. Tae Ik who is an idol always change his stylists before 3 month.
Kang Hwi who is apposite
character with Ta Ik which is cheerful and friendly makes him have more fans of
Take One(Their idol group’sname) than Tae Ik because of Tae Ik’s attitude. Kang
Hwi also has dark past about his family. When he was younger, he lives with his
mother but because of one incident, they apart from each other. This cause Kang
Hwi needs to live with his father’s family in China, in this family only his
half-sister good to him which he determined to not going back in China because
it’s only leaves him a scar.
Jin Se Ryung, who is a popular actress,
had romantic relationship with Tae Ik until Tae Ik saw her kissed Kang-Hwi in
front of his eyes while Kang Hwi didn’t realize he saw the incident. Her
character is a bit similar with Tae Ik, she’s bossing people around her and
kind of cute and “annoying character as well.
This drama also brings a very
scandalous scene where Tae Ik and Kang-Hwi had kissing scene because of
incident related to Tae Ik’s allergic. (I guess that scene too scandalous which
brings almost 1 million for the 1st episode :P)
Man Ok getting closer with
Kang-Hwi after he told her he was one of her customer who ordered her limited
items. Finally, he came to conclusion to ask her to become stylists for Take
One. She impressed Tae Ik by making him from worst to best fashionista.
Day by day, Tae Ik and Kang-Hwi
develop feelings to Man Ok as they spend time with each other, Se Ryung’s appearance brings them to complicated
situations. While Kang-Hwi faces a big problem related to his life as his
sights become blur and said he has thin chances for his eye sights.
Now I will end my reviews about
Full House Take 2 or I can’t stop write reviews about both drama. Like I said
before, I gave Full House 4.5 out 5 and for Full House Take 2 also 4.5 out of 5
as well. For me, both drama have interesting plot. I’m not lying, if I don’t
like the drama I won’t review about the drama. If you have time, take this
opportunity to watch both drama and reviews it yourself. Then you will know why
did I say it have interesting plot. Thank you for stopping by and reading my
blog. (^__^)
